About Mannarkad Constituency

Mannarkad constituency was redrawn in the 2008 Delimitation to include the Attappady tribal region. N. Shamsudheen (IUML/UDF) has won all three elections since 2011 - the only UDF-held seat consistently in Palakkad district. Includes significant tribal population from Attappady.
