About Malampuzha Constituency

Malampuzha is a CPI(M) fortress - the Left has won EVERY election here since 1970 without exception. Former Chief Ministers E.K. Nayanar (1980, 1982) and V.S. Achuthanandan (2001-2016) represented this seat. A. Prabhakaran won in 2021 by 25,734 votes. BJP C. Krishnakumar came second - notably pushing Congress to third place.
