Nemmara Vallangy Vela
Nemmara: April 2 is the date for this year’s Nemmara Vallangy vela. Both Nemmara & Vallangy are getting ready for the vela. As a beginning to the vela celebrations, 9 days of Kummati at Nemmara and Kanyar kali at Vallangy are already underway. There is celebration & festive atmosphere here and every home is receiving lot of relatives & guests to witness the vela and fireworks.
നെന്മാറ: നെന്മാറ-വല്ലങ്ങിവേലയ്ക്ക് ഇരുദേശങ്ങളും ഒരുങ്ങി.ആചാരവിധിയനുസരിച്ച് നെന്മാറ ദേശത്ത് കുമ്മാട്ടിയും, വല്ലങ്ങി ദേശത്ത് കണ്യാര്കളിയും ആരംഭിച്ചു. കുമ്മാട്ടിയും കണ്യാര്കളിയും ഒന്പത് ദിവസങ്ങളിലായാണ് നടക്കുന്നത്.ഇരുദേശങ്ങളും ആഘോഷത്തിന്റെ ലഹരിയിലാണ്.ബന്ധുമിത്രാദികളുടെ സാന്നിധ്യവും ഓരോവീടുകളിലും വേലയുത്സവത്തിന്റെ ലഹരി പടര്ത്തി കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഏപ്രില് 2നാണ് വേല.
