Anti-cola Protesters threatens to resume stir

An anti-cola struggle group, which suspended its fight against the Coca Cola plant at Plachimada in the district following the state ban on colas, today threatened to resume its agitation in the wake of Kerala High Court order quashing the ban.

Mailamma, leader of the Adivasi Samrakshna Samiti, told reporters that the struggle against the cola plant would be resumed demanding the closure of the unit at Plachimada.

The group had called off its agitation after the LDF Government imposed ban on sale and manufacture of Coca Cola and Pepsi.
